JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of the job

Own procurement’s data and analytics function; provide advanced dashboards and reports (including budget reports) and generate insights to drive continuos business improvements. Provide specialist advice, guidance and insights to inform procurement decision making and development of future strategy. Support category specialists in analytics and development of complex models Act as a Procurement systems support and master administrator and ensure excellence in operational systems delivery and strategic development and implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

Relevant 3years Tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Information Management
5years’ work experience in data and analysis or reporting role
Experience in statistics and business/data modelling
Experience in Procurement (advantageous)
Experience in Systems Development
Experience in Business Intelligence, e.g. Excel, Alteryx, SQL Server, MSQL & Access
Hands-on experience in data visualization, e.g. Power-BI, Tableau, QlikView, Bobj, etc.

Knowledge & Skills:

Procurement Spend Analytics
Data process Automation
Data Analysis and Data Visualization best practices
Big Data (Hive, Spark) would beneficial
Data Analytics enabler skills (e.g. Python, R, SQL etc.)
Source to Contract and Procure to Pay
Good Practice Procurement Governance and Compliance
Financial and Commercial knowledge wth strong business acumen
Leading practices procurement processes and systems such as JDE technology
Advanced interpersonal and collaborative skills
Corporate Governance
General Business Management knowledge
Market Analysis and Research

Key Result Areas

Tasks related to supporting the Procurement function in analytics, generating insights and development of complex models
Tasks related to generating advanced dashboards and reports to provide insights and to drive business strategies and decisions
Tasks related to creating and modifying systems and databases to meet the expanding needs of the Procurement function an ensuring data integrity
Compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and standards
