SUMMARY:
Engineering and fabrication specialist manufacturing company for conveyor structures based in and around Kempton Park is looking for an industrial spray painter

POSITION INFO:
Company is looking for an experienced Industrial Spray Painter (minimum 3 years’ experience) to spray and coat steel plates for conveyor structures in a heavy industrial environment.

Requirements:
â Minimum 3 years’ industrial spray painting experience
â Experience spraying steel plates and structural components
â Proficient with airless sprayers, conventional spray guns & pressure pots
â Knowledge of epoxies, urethanes, primers & enamels
â Ability to mix and apply 2K coatings correctly
â Understanding of Dry Film Thickness (DFT) control
â Strong attention to detail
â Hardworking, reliable team player with a positive attitude

Key Duties:
- Prepare steel surfaces for coating
- Apply industrial coatings to conveyor structures and steel plates
- Ensure even coverage and correct film thickness
- Inspect and rectify defects (runs, sags, holidays)
- Maintain spray equipment and follow safety standards
