Statutory/ Company Secretary

SUMMARY:
Our client in the service firm, is looking for a Company Secretarial / Statutory Compliance Officer with 3+ years of experience in a similar role to join their team in Honeydew

Salary: R25 000 per month

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a company secretarial or statutory compliance role
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Legal, Corporate Governance, or similar)
• Strong administrative skills and database management experience.
• Proficient in Greysoft and InfoDocs (or similar secretarial software)
• Excellent knowledge of the Companies Act and FICA
• Bilingual in Afrikaans and English preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all company secretarial duties, including formation, registration, and deregistration of companies and close corporations
• Manage director/member/auditor appointments and resignations
• Maintain statutory records (share registers, director registers, etc.)
• Process share transfers, issue share certificates, and prepare statutory resolutions and minutes
• File statutory forms with CIPC and manage Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) declarations
• Ensure FIC Act compliance and handle KYC documentation
• Utilize CIPC eServices and BizPortal effectively
• Provide ad hoc administrative and compliance support as needed
