SUMMARY:
Steel Strategic Logistics Manager to join busy and growing warehouse team based in Wadeville. Senior position to plan the distribution and logistics of local and export steel. PLEASE NOTE ONLY CANDIDATES WITHIN THE STEEL INDUSRTY OR PREVIOUS STEEL KNOWLEDGE WILL BE CONSIDERED.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for the entire logistics coordination – input and output, management of company fleet, 3rd party fleet, 3rd party exports etc..
Strategic role requiring someone with excellent planning and problem solving skills.
This is a senior level position reporting into the Operations Director.
Previous proven record planning and running own fleet, 3rd party fleet, cost per ton, volume etc.
