Steel Sales Manager | CPT

SUMMARY:
Well-established company, with a record of over 100 years of trading, is seeking a Steel, Tube and Hardware Retail Sales Manager for their Retail Branches in Wetton and Epping. 2 positions available - 1 per branch.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Candidates must have Steel, Tube, Hardware or Fluid Control experience (Irrigation, Pumps, Pipes & Fittings etc.) – this is a must – no other industry will be considered  
• Ideally the candidate must reside / come from Cape Town but will also consider candidates from other areas that are open to relocate to Cape Town
• Candidate needs to have the required Retail Sales Manager experience – needs to know the Retail environment, i.e. candidates who were / are a Department Manager / Floor Manager / Retail Manager / Supervisors at a Buco, Cashbuild, Hardware Stores etc.   
• Candidate needs to have the required experience within the Retail environment with the following products: paints / hardware / adhesives / steel etc.
• Candidate also needs to have previous Management experience – being a Supervisor / Manager

• A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience required within a Sales position in the required industry
• Syspro experience will be an advantage

• Salary offer:  negotiable / market related gross salary per month (before deductions) + sales incentives
• Open to race and gender 
• Candidate needs to have a strong personality, must be able to perform and work under pressure  

• Working Hours:  07:30 – 17:00 Mondays to Fridays and every alternative Saturday and Public Holiday from 08:00 – 13:00 in accordance with a roster system
• Will be required to partake in all relevant stock takes at the branch  
• Medical aid is optional (Discovery Health – 50% employee contribution and 50% employer contribution if they join within the 1st month of employment)
• Provident Fund is compulsory (3% employee contribution and 3% employer contribution)
• Funeral Cover is compulsory (only employer contribution)

• Will form part of the sales incentive scheme
