Stock Controller & Receiving

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in the electrical manufacturing and solar distribution sector, is seeking a qualified and experienced Stock Controller & Receiving professional to join their team in George. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient management of stock and the accurate handling of incoming goods.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock and materials.
• Maintain and update accurate inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with storage and safety regulations.
• Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
• Generate inventory and stock movement reports.
• Assist with the development and implementation of improved stock control procedures.

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in stock control and receiving.
• Previous experience in the electrical or solar industry is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of inventory systems and stock control processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
