POSITION INFO:
We are seeking an honest, dedicated, hardworking, and safety-conscious Stockpile Controller to join a leading open-cast mining operation. The ideal candidate will be agile, results-driven, and possess strong stockpile management experience in a mining and plant environment.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 2+ years’ experience in stockpile management within an open-cast mine & plant
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Computer literate (MS Office, stockpile management systems)
- Strong communication skills, team player, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage & maintain stockpiles in compliance with company standards
- Monitor daily tonnage, compare with surveyor reports, and report discrepancies
- Maintain display boards with accurate stockpile information
- Liaise with clients on product availability and specifications
- Ensure proper traffic management in stockpile areas
- Verify correct product loading and prevent overloading
- Oversee laboratory sample collection and validate results against stockpile data
- Blend products as per client requirements and report on tons, grades & blends
