SUMMARY:
Client based in Gauteng is looking for a Strategic Account Manager with strong experience in the Software Industry then this position is for you. Client is in the Digital/IT sector

POSITION INFO:
Purpose:

Account Manager is responsible for sales to the existing client base and cultivating long-term productive relationships with  existing customers. 

Key Skills:

  • Contribute to general client engagement efforts such as webinars or events that will help to drive sales opportunities
  • Contacts decision makers of the existing client base at least once per quarter to assess and clarify customer needs
  • View the client environment through the lens of your business acumen to best understand the needs of the key stakeholders and match the appropriate solutions to the issues they face
  • Proactively lead strategic account planning process to address client performance objectives and sets critical milestones for the future
  • Coordinates the involvement of internal departments and resources to meet the expectations of customers and meet performance objectives

General :
  • Build strong relationships with regional client base     
    Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and objectives in assigned accounts 
  • Work closely with Customer Support department to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution 

Requirements:
  • Candidate must have 2 years experience in the software industry
  • Candidate should demonstrate 2 years experience in software sales or Account Management
  • Technical background an asset
  • Customer Service Background an Asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of customer service practices
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn software programs
  • Knowledge of technologies, systems, and Industry solutions
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as, Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or a related field advantageous
  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
