SUMMARY:
A leading organisation in the industrial sector is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and develop strong client relationships. POSITION INFO:
Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development (Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial sector preferred)
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field (advantageous)
Strong financial and business acumen with excellent negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across targeted markets
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Negotiate and close deals in line with company pricing and profitability strategies
Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage
Prepare proposals, contracts, and sales presentations to support new business efforts
Maintain accurate reporting on pipelines, forecasts, and sales performance metrics
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, and logistics) to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction
Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums

Technical Skills:

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Experience working with CRM or ERP systems to track and manage sales pipelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
