JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a dynamic Engineering Consulting company in the building services industry, requires the full-time services of a Structural BIM Modeler to join their dynamic draughting team in Cape Town ASAP!
This company offers exciting projects in multi-disciplinary engineering consulting services to the public and private sectors.
The successful candidate must have own reliable transport with valid driver's license and be prepared to travel to project sites.
Must also be medically fit to obtain medical fitness certificate for work on construction sites.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

Form part of an existing design office
Draughting work in Revit, AutoCad and Robar Scheduling in AutoPadds
Guide and support draugthing team in the office
Attending site meeting, design meetings and client meetings
Technical support to Senior Project Managers & Project Directors
Site inspections and compiling of snag lists related to MEP Services
Guide and support draughting team in the office

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12, relevant qualification essential
Min 5 years industry related experience in building and engineering consulting services
Experience in BIM modelling, Revit, AutoCad and AutoPadds
Must have worked on Structural Concrete and steel in Building Services
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
Technical understanding of Revit
Strong teamwork skills required

Own reliable transport, valid driver's license
Willing to travel to work on building sites
Medically fit to obtain medical certificate
