SUMMARY:
We currently require the services of experienced Intermediate Structural Steel Design Engineer to join our design team at our branch in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:
Role and Responsibilities

Design structural components for projects, including analysing survey, geotechnical reports and client requirements.
Analysing steel and concrete structures.
Evaluating safety and ensuring compliance to various international codes and regulations.
Use AutoCAD and other drafting software programs to create 2D design and 3D models.
Prepare engineering reports.
Review drawings completed by draughtsman.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

BEng/BSc/BTech in Structural Engineering with 5+ years post-grad work experience.

Preferred Skills

Proficient with Prokon Structural Analysis
Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit
Decisive with excellent critical thinking skills
Experience with International design standards and codes will be beneficial
