A well-established multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm offers an exciting career opportunity for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join their fast growing Structural Engineering Department in Cape Town.
This dynamic consulting firm in building services, offers projects in the public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will be looking for a challenging career career opportunity to grow his/her career.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Implement specialized knowledge of civil engineering structures, buildings and industrial structures.
- Exercise a high level of expertise in structural design and analysis.
- Play a project leader role, liaising with clients and built environment professionals.
- Proficient in Prokon, Sumo, AutoCAD, Revit to manage design/draught team
- Ensure tasks are completed to meet project programmes, timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure appropriate technical and company design standards and quality procedures are maintained on all projects

Qualifications:

- Education – a minimum of BEng/BSc (Eng) or BTech in Civil Engineering.
- A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering would be an advantage.
- Professional Registration with ECSA would be an advantage or must be close to registering. Minimum requirement is Cand PR Eng/Cand Pr Tech Eng.

Experience:

- Must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in structural design in a consulting environment.
- Building services industry knowledge essential.
