Multi Disciplinary Consulting engineers based in Pretoria requires a Civil-Structural engineer with proven design and Project Management skills on Industrial Buildings such as Factories, food and beverage plants,  warehouses etc. Company has existing projects at Commercial developers. Large scale Industrial projects of Multi Million Rand.

POSITION INFO:

Structural Engineer (Industrial)

Pretoria

Multi-disciplinary Consulting Civil engineering company based in Pretoria requires a Structural design engineer to work with a team of quality driven engineers

The company has extensive knowledge and experience large-scale industrial projects such as multi-storey buildings and manufacturing plants/ warehouses and Industrial or Chemical plants.

Projects are rendered on EPCM basis.

Qualification/ Requirements:

• BEng/BSc Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering)
• ECSA – registered as a  Candidate Civil (Structural) Engineer

Experience:

• 2-4 years post qualification design experience in both reinforced concrete and structural steel
• Building structures including large Manufacturing plants,  deep basements, high rise buildings, Chemical plants, Petrochemical Plants, Food and beverage and FMCG plants

Responsibilities:

• Reinforced concrete and structural steel designs
• Will be responsible for design, detailing and drawing of projects on Prokon, AutoCAD, Revit
• Analysis and design of various structural steel and concrete structures
• Assist in remedial work of existing structures
• Work closely with Architects and QS companies on Projects for a broad scope of Projects
• Attending of site inspections and meetings
• Interact with other consultants, contractors and clients
• Involved in all aspects of running projects
