SUMMARY:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate ABA Supervisor to lead and support behavior therapy services for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, in Ghana. This role involves supervising Therapists, developing individualized programs, and ensuring adherence to global ABA standards while adapting to the local context.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and oversee individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children with special needs.
Supervise and mentor a team of RBTs, Therapy Assistants, or Trainee Therapists.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Monitor treatment fidelity and progress through data analysis.
Provide regular training to staff and support capacity-building initiatives in ABA.
Engage with and support families through training and communication.
Ensure that all practices align with BACB Ethics Code and organizational standards.
Contribute to the development of ABA programs within schools

Education:

Master’s Degree (or higher) in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

Certification:

BCBA® or BCBA-D® certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Equivalent certification (e.g., UKBA(Cert)) may be considered.
Must have completed the 8-hour BACB-approved supervision training.

Experience:

1,500–2,000 hours of supervised ABA fieldwork (as required for BCBA certification).
Minimum 3 years of experience working with children with autism or developmental disorders.
Prior experience supervising Therapists or Interventionists is essential.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavioral assessment, and program implementation.
Ability to adapt ABA practices to Ghanaian cultural and educational contexts.
Effective in training, mentoring, and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong report writing, data analysis, and communication skills.
Commitment to ethical practice and inclusion.

Preferred:

Experience working in low-resource or international settings.
Familiarity with special education systems
Willingness to engage in outreach, community training, or advocacy initiatives.
