SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for a permanent role based in Rosslyn, Gauteng.
POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- BSc in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years Quality Engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Field experience in project / admin environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems / components
- Proficient in quality analysis tools with strong problem-solving skills
- Broad knowledge of manufacturing quality control methods, tools & techniques
- EE / AA candidates ideally sought
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:- Product, process and requalification audits
- Process series (PZS)
- Meetings, minutes and follow-up
- Monitoring of internal product and process conformance
- Measurement and data analysis with full and applied knowledge of Six-Sigma
- Root cause analysis by using RCA tools such as: Ishikawa or Fishbone Diagrams, Five Why’s, Pareto Charts, FMEA’s etc.
- Administration (e.g.: 8D’s, Corrective Action, Supplier Claims, ISIR’s/EMPB’s/PSW’s, Drawings and Specifications, Standards/Norms etc.)
- Handling of non-conforming product including SAP administration
- Containment and rework actions
- Representative of the supplier quality to client and the customer
- Reporting – internal/external
- QMS administration (Flowcharts, Procedures, WI’s in QMS drive and N5)
- Administration of various client and customer-based applications
- Supplier product change management and administration
Salary: Market related dependent on experience
