Our client, a leader in the adhesives industry, is looking for a Supply Chain Director to oversee and manage their entire supply chain and logistics strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing productivity, ensuring cost-efficiency, and maximizing the efficiency of the supply chain from procurement of raw materials to delivery of the final product. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex supply chains within the manufacturing sector, preferably with experience in adhesives or related chemical products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's objectives, focusing on scalability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.

• Oversee and manage supply chain and logistics operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure the availability of materials and products to meet customer requirements.

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to secure the best terms and prices while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Implement and utilize advanced supply chain analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.

• Lead and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and accountability.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to supply chain and logistics operations.

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and address any issues promptly.

• Stay informed of the latest trends and developments in supply chain management and logistics, particularly within the adhesives industry, to adopt best practices and innovative solutions.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains and implementing efficiency improvements.

• Deep understanding of the global supply chain and logistics landscape, including regulatory and market trends.

• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is an advantage.
