SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – Northern Suburbs (Cape Town)

R50 000 to R R55 000 Per Month Negotiable on Qualification and Years of relevant experience

6 MONTH CONTRACT!

Our Client, a Global Food Manufacturing firm is offering this exciting career opportunity within their dynamic team.

One would describe you as being a highly efficient and strongly adaptable individual who enjoys working in a multicultural environment and possesses solid interpersonal skills together with the ability to prioritise multiple job functions and responsibilities.

This role with report to the Commercial Director of SA.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics
5 years’ experience in supply chain management
Exposure gained within the FMCG | Dairy | related multi-national would be highly advantageous!
Advanced MS Excel skills and modelisation
Proven leadership skills
Exposure gained with ERP SAP B1 is a plus!

The primary responsibilities include:

Local Production flows
- Inventory and stock targets follow up
- Local Sales forecast in coordination with Sales Manager and distributor
- Weekly Production Plan definition in contact with the subcontractor
- Invoicing Management
- MRP Planning (raw materials and packaging) alignment with the subcontractor
Imports flows
- Inventory and stock targets follow up
- Local Sales forecast in coordination with Sales Manager and distributor
- Orders to Europe plants
- Shipments ETA/ETD and documentation follow up
- Management of the relationship with 3PL partners
- Distributor orders and invoicing management
Export flows (local production to SADC countries)
- Documentation and orders preparation
- Physical flow management with 3PL partners
Other main tasks
- S&OP Process management and coordination with all actors
- Supply Chain/Logistics Costs follow up
Supervising Staff: The Supply Chain team is managed by the Supply Chain Manager
Supervising the Customer Service Assistant in charge of invoicing, orders management, export flows management, etc.
