Supply Chain Manager

SUMMARY:

THE ROLE – SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER:
The company wishes to appoint a well-rounded Supply Chain Manager to manage procurement, production and logistics of the beverage department. The ideal candidate is confident and solution orientated. The role requires someone who is a meticulous and well organised, with the capacity to adapt and problem solve when faced with challenges.

POSITION INFO:
Reporting to the head of beverages, the successful incumbent will use their great network and skills derived in the FMCG supply chain arena to always ensure the total inventory system is running like a well-oiled machine with the end goal of delivering the highest standard of product to the customer.      
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Stock Management:

• Maintain accurate system view of Finished goods & Raw Material stocks
• Manage & facilitate stock counts
• Manage stock returns process
• Manage stock ageing to minimize expiry
• Supply chain and stock forecasting
• Oversee stocks with retailers, distributors and other customers and support them in ensuring end consumers always have stock available for purchase

• Ensure partners in the supply chain understand expectations and meet these
• Manage key supplier relationships
• Document and manage process and procedures with these partners
• Oversee manufacturing runs and compliance to quality standards and within agreed tolerance
• Document each production run

• Ensure end customers are being served on time, in full & according to prescribed guidelines through various 3rd part logistics partners
• Manage relationships with retailers and other sales distributors regarding orders and execution thereof
• Resolve distribution and billing disputes and challenges

• Maintain an up-to-date library of artwork and proofs
• Keep record of all relevant material COC’s and COA’s
• Ensure all products are compliant & within the relevant regulation

• Continually strive to source better pricing and terms with your supplier base

• A minimum of 4 year within the Supply Chain arena specifically within FMCG
• Advance Excel skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Exposure to ERP systems
• Ability to manage stress

• Speak and write English fluently
