Supply Chain Specialist

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in their industry for exports is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience:

• B Com Logistics Degree, Supply Chain Hons degree, OR BCom Financial Accounting Degree.
• 2 to 3 years Supply Chain experience.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in the FMCG industry.
• If you are an Accountant with Supply Chain or Logistics experience, you will also be considered.
• Experience working on ACCPAC.
• Intermediate to expert level with Excel.
• Data analysis experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable:

• Processing of Supply Chain invoices.
• Resolving queries.

• Supply Chain Analysis:

• Analysis of Supply Chain management.
• Identifying concern areas and resolving the queries.
• Assist Operations on decision making.
• Loading and maintaining of cost chain data.
• Analyse, report, evaluate and reconcile cost chain data.
• Container cost recovery analyses.

• Freight: 

• Analysis of Freight costs and recoveries.

• Invoicing.
• Month end reporting.
• General ledger and total profit forecasting.
• Working long hours.
