SUMMARY:
Well established company in JHB North seeks a Demand and Supply Planner from FMCG industry

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Supply Chain or related qualification
Experience in demand and supply planning
Solid understanding of inventory control and stock management procedures
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with supply chain automation and related business tools
Previous exposure to the FMCG industry (advantageous)
Commercially minded with sound business judgement
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data

Role purpose

Develop accurate demand forecasts to ensure consistent product availability and meet sales targets.
Proactively manage inventory levels to balance cost-efficiency with customer satisfaction.
Implement replenishment strategies to avoid overstocking and minimize stock risks.
Coordinate timely and cost-effective material flow into operations.
Resolve supply chain exceptions such as stockouts, delays, and lead-time discrepancies.
Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
