POSITION INFO:
Sustainable Development Manager - Engineering (POS24214) Northern Cape - Kuruman \/ Kathu R 1 500 0000 per annum BEE Candidates to apply Job Purpose: In order to integrate sustainability practices within the current business model, the Sustainable Development Manager will identify external and internal sustainability trends and detect potential risks and opportunities with the aim to assist XX to become a leader amongst its industry peers in corporate governance and sustainability. Integrates SHE Strategic processes throughout the organisation. Requirements: Bachelors Degree Hons\/Btech in Engineering and relevant Safety Management Qualification at (NQF Level 7) and 8 to 10 years' experience in sustainability development and contractor management in mining industry at senior management level Training in: OMSOC 1 & 2 Risk Assessment Management or leadership qualification will be advantageous Equipment and Systems: IsoMetrix Safety Management system ICAM surveillance equipment and system Workflow Employee Self Service system Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrable management skills (planning, leading, organising, controlling) Report writing skills Professional, verbal, and written communication in English Communication and networking skills within the organisation and externally Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) Knowledge of Environmental, Health, Hygiene and Security related regulations and requirements Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the application thereof Strong project management, conflict resolution and facilitation skills; Strong research skills and ability to analyse and interpret data to create reports; Closing Date: 31 July 2024 To apply for this position: Send MS Word format CV to and use POS24214 in the subject line
