You will be responsible for ensuring the correct inventory profiles are maintained and available timeously as well as ensuring continuous improvement of processes. POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a procurement specialist environment with a proven history
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Excel, Google Sheets).
• Interpersonal and good communication skills.
• Strong ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Must be detail orientated and deadline driven.
• Must have minimum of 3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment linked to supply chain functions – or similar

Duties Include:

• Drives the Integrated Business Planning (concrete products)
• Reports capacity based on inventory forecasts supplied by the commercial team for the S&OP pack prepared for the executive committee
  • Identifies demand and supply constraints
  • Recommendations for resolving supply constraints
  • Provides factory plans in line with weekly planning process
  • Forecast understanding to review and interrogate the demand forecast provided by the commercial team to understand driving factors behind the numbers and ability to identify whether the forecast has shortfalls based on historical data
  • Ability to provide forecasts for other raw materials. while trying to be as accurate as possible
  • Proactive communication (both internal and external) of current issues to prioritize and ensure a high level of service to internal functions and suppliers.
  • Initiation and participation in preventive and corrective actions (continuous improvement process) within the supply chain.

Qualifications

Must have a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business or related
