A leading financial institution is looking to appoint a System Analyst to play a pivotal role in transforming business requirements into high-impact, integrated technology solutions. This contract opportunity is perfect for a technically minded professional who enjoys being hands-on with both analysis and testing, while collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and delivery teams.

The successful candidate will work across the full solution lifecycle – from analysing and defining business requirements, to supporting solution design and leading manual testing. The role requires someone who is both strategic and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of full-stack and cross-system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and translate business needs into detailed user stories and system requirements
Collaborate with product leads and squads to shape solution roadmaps and backlogs
Use business analysis and modelling tools to document systems and processes (UML/BPMN)
Lead manual testing strategies and define testing frameworks and pass/fail criteria
Support system integration testing, UAT and real-time solution feedback
Engage with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals and compliance standards
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous process improvement

Key Skills and Experience:

Previous experience as a software developer
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proven experience with business process modelling and system integration
Working knowledge of Java or C#, and SQL (advantageous)
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Degree in Information Technology or related field
