JOB SUMMARY:
System Engineer required with proven system engineering skills in the aviation industry. Previous hands on experience in design engineering required. Skilled in management and understanding of system Engineering processes, baseline management and ability to deal professionally with other design engineers. Project Managers and presentation skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SYSTEM ENGINEER: ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Pretoria

Qualification:

B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
System engineering (Ad Sparrius) or similar course highly direable.

Experience required

At least 10-15 years working experience
5 years proven skills as a system engineer or skilled in a Project Management role for highly technical manufacturing and systems
Must have skills in the Aviation or Aeronautical field

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager.
Support the Product System engineers and Project Managers.
Specifications for subsystems
Grounding strategies
Product specifications,
Develop Requirement Specifications,
System Test Descriptions,
Definition of technical strategies such as grounding strategies for units and subsystems,
Identify and resolve technical problems.
Development of programme Test and Evaluation Master plans.
Coordinating and Monitoring of all development system integration, Commissioning, Design Verification and Qualification.
Interface control documents.
Qualification of subsystems, qualification of units
Test procedures, Test Instructions and Test Reports.
