  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  To provide technical and functional support of the ReconAssist, SFS and RPA applications. Interpret and transform business requirements into well-defined system solutions and technical specifications for Finance.

  Job Specification:

  • Obtain a technical and functional knowledge of the application
  • Define application problems by working closely with Finance business.
  • Interpret current business requirements into sustainable systems solutions and requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into documented system requirements.
  • Perform system and integration testing and support users in User acceptance testing. 
  • Resolve user and system queries and provide input/guidance to 3rd party vendor where required.
  • Ensure the stability of the existing systems environment and compliance to SDLC  
  • Maintains all standby and support documentation
  • Plan, co-ordinate and implement identified solutions
  • Perform Standby on a rotational basis
  Skills and Experience:

  Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 year IT or relevant business-related qualification 
  • 1 to 2 years Application support experience
  • Good working knowledge of Woolworths infrastructure
  • Problem solving skills and systems thinking
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL
  • Experience in system analysis and design, including documentation.
  • Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle and related processes
  • Strong Analytical skills and systems thinking.
  • General Financial systems knowledge advantageous
  • Level 1 or 2 support experience
