TECHNICAL SERVICES / AGRONOMIST - VITICULTURE (PAARL)

SUMMARY:
Our client is currently seeking a Technical Services consultant / Agronomist with previous experience in Viticulture for their operations in Paarl.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• Degree in agronomy, specialization in viticulture an added advantage
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as technical/research assistant, or agronomist, or a farm advisor. Practical experience on a grape farm
• Knowledge of the Vitis genus, anatomy of the grapevine, plant nutrition, soil characteristics, rootstocks, irrigation systems and other agronomic subjects, knowledge of other tree/vine crops an added advantage. 
• This position will require localized and international travel from time to time
• Valid Drivers licence
