SUMMARY:
Our FMCG Client based in Muldersdrift is looking for a Trade Marketing Analyst

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

BCom/BSc degree or similar in Economics or Statistics
Two (2) years experience in a Marketing Analyst role FMCG advantageous
Experience working with Market research Agency data
Experience within the FMCG retail data system will be an advantage
Computer literate with a good mastering of the entire Microsoft suite
Proficient in written and spoken English and Afrikaans
Valid RSA code 8 Drivers Licence

Key Functions to the Role:

Investigate market activities and analyse the impact on business
Monitor pricing in the trade and report monthly on the trend
Compile and tracing pricing and product availability reports
Identifying gaps in the market and supply suggested measures
Analyse daily sales versus history and budgeted numbers provide feedback and actions on performance
Co-ordinate survey commissioned and report back to the team on trends, gaps and way forward
Assess future trend behaviour for the advantage of the company
Coordinate research project to justify the research
Provide feedback after each promotion analysing objectives vs outcome and how to correct this moving forward
Monitor all company promotions and sales tracking.
Identify growth opportunities and provide solutions where necessary
Determine market share
Compile month-end report sales reports and customer reviews
