SUMMARY:
Our client in the Public Sector has an opportunity available for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be based in the Midrand area. This will be a position for 6 months.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Industrial Psychology
Knowledge and implementation of all employment legislation
Knowledge of resourcing channels
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
Proven Headhunting experience
Trained in Competency-based interview
Experience in dealing with mass recruitment project
Ability to work effectively under time pressure

KPAs:

Manage recruitment channels and liaise with agencies, including career fairs and universities (if & where required)
Network with external stakeholders with the purpose to build a Talent Pool for the Corporation
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, minimizing the company’s exposure to adverse outcomes of complaints, litigation, audits and inspections
Establish recruiting effectiveness and recruiting performance matrics e.g., recruit cycle time, cost etc.
Review and manage effective talent acquisition reporting information for the portfolio allocated
Prepare the appointment pack for approvals
Conduct all employment checks, example, employment reference checks, Credit Checks
