POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensuring standardization of recruitment processes and procedures
  • Developing and managing a talent pipeline for the market that is in line with the businesses current and future requirements
  • Develop and implement innovative and creative solutions to sourcing and candidate management – including developing direct sourcing channels, including market mapping, employee referrals, advertising, and other methods
  • Ensure regular reporting of relevant recruiting metrics to assess effectiveness of recruiting programs and talent hired
  • Partnering with hiring managers and developing a sourcing strategy for each role and regular communication and updates
  • Delivering Competency based training to all people managers and ensuring a robust hiring process
  • Ensuring a high quality and consistent approach to job descriptions and job adverts, including providing training and guidance to hiring managers
  • Monitors and interprets Acquisition Data to identify trends and suggests and implement actions where required
  • Researches, recommends, and executes best practice in Talent Acquisition
  • Execute effective engagement, screening, and closing approaches that delivers a diverse range of candidates and provides an outstanding candidate experience
  • Build employer brand to attract the best talent
  • Manage end-to-end candidate’s recruiting, including drafting of job descriptions, job posting, candidate research, interviews, assessments, and reference checks
  • Own the recruiting processes across the organization with input from stakeholders to ensure consistency and optimization across all departments

 
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • Matric, with a degree or diploma essential (HR / Commerce/ Behavioural Science) and/or minimum 5 years relevant working experience


NECESSARY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience working as a Talent Acquisition specialist, with experience using online sourcing platforms
  • IT/Tech and Support Teams recruitment experience will be advantageous
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of ownership
  • Excellent planning and organizing competence
  • Focused attention to detail
  • Able to work independently but contribute to team delivery
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow, use time efficiently and operate under pressure
  • Strong clients focus with the ability to build trust with stakeholders and committed to continuous improvement
  • Must be adaptable in priorities changing requirements
  • Strong analytic capabilities to measure, analyse and report on data and hiring metrics
  • Expertise in building and executing a recruiting strategy
