JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client, a leader in the Marketing and Advertising industry is looking for a Talent Officer to be based at their offices in Durbanville, Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include:
  • Job profiling; establishing key links between the essential requirements of a position and the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behavioural characteristics required to deliver successful performance.
  • Candidate profiling; defining the ideal candidate for a specific position.
  • Attract, interview, hire, and onboard employees in the company.
  • Source applicants through online channels and other professional networks.
  • Determine and coordinate the selection procedures; screening calls, assessments, etc.
  • Drive recruitment initiatives and strategies.
  • Create and implement new job descriptions for all positions within the company.
  • Coordinate and build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Keep records of all recruitment paperwork, interview notes, etc.
  • Design effective training and development programmes that set employees up for success.
  • Coordinate and compose the induction training process for all new employees.
  • Coordinate and compile training manuals.
  • Evaluate employee performance and develop training programmes.
  • Review individual and organisational development needs.
  • Coordinate different learning methods.
  • Arrange e-learning courses, workshops, and other training

Requirements:
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, or similar would be advantageous.
  • Experience with full-cycle in-house recruiting and Learning and Development strategies.
  • 4-5 years experience as a Talent Acquisition Officer, Learning and Development Officer, or similar.
  • Familiarity with social media, CV databases, and professional networks.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
