SUMMARY:
Talent and Development Manager

POSITION INFO:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Partners with the Head HR and leadership on the development and implementation of key
  • strategies, programs and processes for creating and sustaining a high performing
  • organization, building capabilities for driving sustainable, profitable business growth
  • Assist in the design, implementation and management of talent and development strategies,processes and systems that integrate the talent life cycle within the company to build talent depth and enable succession planning for all critical roles
  • Provides support in the development and implementation of competency models, assessment strategy and career development management
  • Ensure integrity of Learning & Development data captured and aligned to all audit protocols
  • Be responsible for Learning & Development implementation including Functional and Technical Skills Development
  • Provide the required assistance and support to ensure relevant development programs are in place to build functional, technical, relevant supervisory/ management and leadership skills for the company to achieve its overall business goals
  • Ovesee techincal skills academy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Psychology) or relevant qualification
  • SDF certification

EXPERIENCE:

  • 8 – 10 years Human Resources management experience with a strong background in Talent,Performance Management and Development within mining or manufacturing
  • BBBEE experience

DUTIES:

  • Trend analysis – talent, development and performance management, etc.
  • Internal and external audit findings
  • Employee Value Proposition and Employer Branding in order to create a Great Place to
  • Work environment
  • Optimised and consistent Talent, Development and Performance management systems,
  • processes, policies, procedures, plans, and programs are in implemented and effectively
  • utilized across the group
  • Agreed initiatives delivered within cost, timeline and quality expectations
  • Accurate and timely reporting
  • Compliance with all HR relevant legislation
  • High performing culture
  • Sound stakeholder relations
