JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tax related administration

Check income annuity, associated payments and tax related payments

Execute check and perform PAYE PAYMENTS INCLUSIVE OF sars SUBMISSIONS BY THE DEADLINE ANDPERFORMING ASSOCIATED RECONCILIATIONS.

Complete the EMP201 FORMS FOR SUBMISSION TO sars, obtain dtatement of account and investigation anomalies to resolve any queries relating from this with the relevant parties.

Tax maintenance

Ensure that any tax rate changes are effected on the system

Updating of the tax calculator with new PAYE Tables as and when these tables are issued.

Queries and operational tax questions

Request relevant distribution reports for the clients allocated to you, calculate the applicable DWT LIABILITY FROM THIS REPORT including DWT refunds .

Reconcile the DWT and WTI CALCULATION WITH FINANCE TEAM TO ENSURE accuracy of payment

File DTR02 and WT002 for the correct period and request payment thereof

Perform CGT CALCULATIONS on possible CGT liability requests

Application on manual tax directives at SARS for emigration, dissallowed and visa withdrals.

B COM ACCOUNTING OR STUDYING TOWARDS OR RELEVAT TAX QUALIFICATIONpRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE OR BACKGROUND WITH RETIREMENT FUNDS esired Experience & Qualification

VOLUNTARY INVESTMENT PRODUCTS TFSA etc

Incvome Tax Act

K nowledge of Tax, SARS e-filing, AWD and line of business
