JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a position available for a Tax Administration & Junior Accountant in the Monument Park Area in Pretoria East.

Requirements:

Matric with Mathematics and Accounting (preference to degreed individuals)
Strong Microsoft office skills (especially MS Word and MS Excel)
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Knowledge of Xero & Simplepay
Basic understanding of VAT and Income tax
Knowledge of Greatsoft tax module (very advantageous)
Know how to file various SARS returns (IT14's, IT12's, EMP201, EMP501, Return of earnings, etc.)
Filing of CIPC returns (advantageous)

Duties (not limited to):

Assist with the administration of the tax process of the practice
Responsible for the full accounting function (From obtaining monthly accounting docs, processing in Xero, reporting and dealing with client queries and requests)
Probably 50% tax and 50% accounting (but the split might change according to our needs)
