Job and Company description:

A prominent blue-chip listed company is looking for a Tax Analyst to join its top-notch Tax team. Operating locally, and across various continents, this company is moving forward and making its mark as a household brand that many South Africans are familiar with and trust. The suitable individual should be organized and must have strong business analysis experience.

Your duties will include:

Getting involved with the strategy and implementation of new tax initiative and processes
Drafting data models in support of the decision-making process
Strong involvement of Income tax laws and also Vat laws
Presenting information to stakeholders in an informative and influential way
System implementation, maintenance, and development

Education:

BCom degree or similar is preferred
Diploma in Business Analysis is preferred

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5 to 10 years’ in an analyst type role or similar experience
Strong SQL, API, XML experience is highly advantageous
Financial Services, banking, or a similar industry exposure is essential
