SUMMARY:
A leading organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join their finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the company’s tax and compliance processes are efficient, accurate, and in alignment with global standards such as IFRS and SOX.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the company’s tax operations
Lead the implementation and maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in all tax and financial reporting matters
Manage and lead tax audits
Review and update tax policies and procedures,
Ensure compliance with VAT, tax provisions, and tax optimization strategies
Prepare and review tax reconciliations and deferred tax provisions
Provide guidance on global tax compliance strategies and initiatives
Address technical tax accounting issues and complex tax planning projects

Qualifications:

CA(SA)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax accounting
