SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join their dynamic tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with strong expertise in individual tax compliance who is looking to broaden their experience across company and trust taxation, SARS disputes, tax advisory, and deferred tax.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit individual income tax returns and provisional tax returns. Manage an allocated portfolio of individual tax clients. Handle SARS eFiling matters, assessments, and client queries. Complete company and trust income tax returns. Assist with VAT, PAYE, dividends tax, and donations tax matters. Draft requests for remission, objections, and suspension of payment applications. Assist with SARS audits, disputes, and Tax Administration Act processes. Perform current and deferred tax calculations and assist with tax accounting matters. Conduct tax research and provide technical tax advice and professional client correspondence. Minimum Requirements Relevant qualification in Taxation, Accounting, or Law . Proven experience preparing individual income tax and provisional tax returns. Solid experience using SARS eFiling and managing a client portfolio. Experience preparing company and trust income tax returns. Knowledge of VAT, PAYE, dividends tax, and donations tax. Experience drafting SARS dispute submissions and objections. Strong understanding of South African tax legislation and the ability to interpret and apply tax laws. Exposure to deferred tax calculations and tax accounting. Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and research skills. GreatSoft experience will be highly advantageous.
