Tax Director

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established accounting firm is looking for an experienced and driven Tax Director to join their team and be responsible for the overall compliance of the Tax Department based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Tax.
• 8-10 years experience as a Tax Specialist.
• Experience with SARS queries as well as legislation experience.
• Essential: Knowledge of Computer Packages such as Finsolve, Accfin and Electronic Tax Library.

Main responsibilities:

• Respsonsivle to assist with all tax related matters.
• Resolve SARS Tax queries.
• Liaising with senior level SARS officials.
• Responsible to appeal and object SARS resolution process.
• National Tax booklet assistance.
• Attend National Partner meetings.
• Stay abreast with recent tax knowledge.
• Briefing Advocates and Attorneys on court level disputes.
