SUMMARY:
Our client in the financial industry is seeking a dynamic Tax Compliance Officer to join their team in either Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth or KuGompo City/East London

POSITION INFO:
Key Roles & Responsibilities Handle general tax administration and processing tasks Assist with the preparation and submission of individual and company income tax returns Attend to SARS-related queries and correspondence Conduct physical visits to SARS branches Support senior tax consultants with day-to-day case management Maintain accurate records of client interactions, documentation, and submissions Liaise with clients to obtain tax information and provide status updates Liaise with clients regarding their engagement status with the Group Requirements At least 2 years' experience working in a tax-related position in South Africa (SARS experience) Valid South African driver's license and own transport (for SARS visits) Strong understanding of SARS systems (eFiling, , etc.) Working knowledge of Income Tax, Provisional Tax, and dispute processes Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
