Job Description:

Manage local and international tax compliance, including income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, dividends tax, carbon tax, and transfer pricing.
Develop strategies to reduce global tax burden while ensuring legal compliance.
Ensure compliance with tax laws in all regions, including tax returns, filings, and local requirements.
Oversee transfer pricing analysis and provide advice on new business ventures.
Handle local and international tax audits.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting, including deferred tax.
Stay updated on tax laws and adjust strategies to minimize future liabilities.
Advise management on tax impacts of business decisions.
Liaise with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors.
Prepare and submit R&D tax incentive applications and other financial incentives.
Update tax policies and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Manage and develop reporting staff.
Undertake ad hoc projects as needed

Qualification, Skills and Competencies Required:

CA(SA) or SAIT accreditation is essential
5+ years post article experience in tax
Strong knowledge of Tax Accounting, IFRS, Transfer Pricing and International Tax
Problem solving skills and managerial experience.
