SUMMARY:
The Financial Controller leads the transactional finance operations across South Africa and the UK, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of financial data. This role supports local and international reporting, manages cash controls, and plays a key part in financial governance and team leadership.

POSITION INFO:

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller oversees accounts payable and receivable, prepares management accounts for SA, supports group month-end close, manages local tax compliance, and leads the finance operations team. The role ensures strong internal controls, accurate ledger management, and efficient processes across multiple entities.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3+ years in a senior financial operations role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Solid understanding of cash flow, transfer pricing, and VAT processes
Advanced Excel and strong attention to detail
Experience in fast-paced, multi-entity environments
Confident communicator and process improver

Qualification:
Relevant finance/accounting degree
CIMA or ACCA qualified/part-qualified - preferred
Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software – preferred
