SUMMARY:
Tax Manager

POSITION INFO:

Manage the direct and indirect tax matters for the organisation
Review and sign off of all necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns that have been prepared by the team
Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals and identify areas to reduce tax exposure
Provide Tax advice to the business on all tax matters
Ensure accurate accounting of tax and compliance with IFRS and tax legislature
Recommend improvements to tax related processes and systems
Understand and implement (where applicable) legislative tax changes
Liaise with the SARS, auditors and regulatory bodies as required on tax matters
Forecasting taxation liabilities

REQUIRMENTS:

3 - 5 years experience as a Tax Manager
Extensive knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
Knowledge of tax software and SAP experience would be an advantage
Honors or Masters degree in Taxation; or CA(SA)
