A well renowned organisation based in Midrand is currently in the market for a Tax Manager/ Tax advisor. The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead and manage the Centre of Tax Excellence.

POSITION INFO:

A well renowned organisation based in Midrand is currently in the market for a Tax Manager/ Tax advisor. The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead and manage the Centre of Tax Excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

BCOM Hons in Tax / M Com
6 – 8 years’ experience
Staff management
Tax industry experience (essential)

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder liaison
Keep abreast with all changes to Tax legislation
Research on relevant tax topics and raising awareness
New developments in tax
Create qualifications and educational requirements for tax practitioners and tax technicians
Plan and implement the Tax divisions strategy
Maintain tax related budget
Publish newt tax guidelines and books
Make submission to tax legislation, regulatory authorities
Training businesses on tax matters
