Our client is seeking an analytical and experienced Tax Manager to join their accounting firm in Pietermaritzburg.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

• Supervision and management of the tax supervisor and tax assistants
• Review of work submitted
• Delegation of work to subordinates
• Handling tax, VAT and PAYE audits
• Liaising with clients and SARS regarding the above-mentioned audit assessments
• Training tax assistants or article clerks when required
• Monthly billing
• Dealing with all tax-related queries that may arise

• Bachelor of Commerce Degree
• Postgraduate in taxation would be (Advantageous)
• Preferably post articles
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Able to meet deadlines and be innovative in a highly pressurised environment
• Attention to detail and ability to compile and analyse reports
