Tax Practitioner

SUMMARY:
Our client a professional and efficient Accounting firm is currently recruiting for a young Tax Practitioner professional to join their team in the Randburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Accounting.
• Registered Tax Practitioner.
• 2-3 years’ experience in the tax field.
• Experience working with CaseWare would be advantageous.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Informing clients or employers on the tax preparation process.
• Collecting relevant financial records, including pay slips and income statements.
• Processing data from financial records into tax return software or databases.
• Adhering to federal, state and local tax law to determine deductions and how much each client will pay or earn on the return.
• Completing and filing tax documents with appropriate agencies (SARS).
• Acting as a representative for clients with applicable agencies as required.
• Building customer relationships to promote and expand the business.
