SUMMARY:
The Tax manager in record to report has resigned. We need to urgently fill this role with a contractor while we search for a permanent replacement. Need a tax specialist at manager level who is highly skilled and will be able to step into the role immediately ie as early as next week.

POSITION INFO:
High level, person was responsible for:
Duration will be 6 months with possible extension.
Start date: Immediately
Work structure: Hybrid

Review of Tax Returns/Co-ordinate process where external assistance
Review of VAT returns (including review of payments loaded)
Review of tax related general ledger recons
Review of para19(3) submissions
Preparation/review of responses to SARS
Review monthly tax computations (including MAH provisions/accruals)
Review on Total tax contribution schedules
Review of provisional tax computations
Post VAT clearing, SARS interest, any tax related journals
Request/Co-ordinate funding requests to ensure payment obligations are always met
Co-ordinate WHT payment process
Review HFM (reporting) disclosures
Review IT14SD submissions/Co-ordinate process where external assistance
Review of expense schedules for tax purposes
Review of country-by-country reporting
Review and co-ordinate Ad Valorem Process
Co-ordinate any tax related projects
Co-ordinate tax specific hard-close audit
Co-ordinate tax specific year-end audit
Review AFS tax disclosures
