POSITION INFO:

Team Leader - Cash Supply Chain (Financial Services)

Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

Position Overview:

One of the top financial services groups has an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced Team Leader: Cash Supply Chain.

The main purpose of this position is to manage the cash operations of the group’s Durban Cash Centre and to ensure the availability and integrity of banknotes to the public.

Key Performance Areas:

• Take responsibility for managing the performance and development of the team.
• Manage the cash centre in the absence of the Cash Centre Manager.
• Manage the cash operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage processes pertaining to cash transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Establish and manage relationship with various stakeholders.
• Collate and provide management information to the Cash Centre Manager.
• Enforce service level agreements with users of bulk cash transactions.
• Serve as the custodian of the Business Continuity Plan in the absence of the Cash Centre Manager.

To be considered for this position, one must have:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in a Cash Environment, with 3 years in a Team Leader role.
