JOB SUMMARY:
Team Leader Online

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas :

To distribute/ balance/ adjust work among team members

Instruct team members, including on-the-job-training, in specific tasks and job techniques and make available written instructions and reference materials

Monitor and report on the status and progress of work as assigned to team members

Maintain and create reference material, policies and procedures

Setup and configure processes to increase productivity and stability

Implement solutions and deliverables

Perform analysis and support for production related issues.

Setup and configure disaster recovery for our clients which include hardware, software and documentation.

Consulting within other departments on client queries and new integrations, upgrades, and bug fixes

Interpret Logfile/Traces/Sql profiler Entries

Reporting of issues utilising documentation

Notification to management of all production related issues

Resolve EFT/VAS/OFFICE Related issues, may involve modifying code, configuration changes, settlement / reconciliation configuration issues

Manage Databases, Tables where required, MSSQL, MySql

Migrating data to and from Flat File, DB, Spreadsheets

Manage data for clients and facilitate in reporting

Develop fixes and work around for business critical systems where required Maintain and create reference material, policies and procedures Perform analysis and support for production related issues

System trend analysis / system capacity planning

Implementing solution and deliverables

Setup and configure disaster recovery

Co-ordinating system upgrades, bug fixes & implementations with Test Department Liaising with Sales Support Department client queries & new client integrations Submitting of monthly Teams Overtime and Standby

Competencies

Qualifications:

Matric

Completion of a Computer Literacy and/or Technical Course

Specialist Skills required:

AWS Cloud experience,

DB SSIS & Reporting,

Python Scripting

SQL, TSQL and MYSQL

Linux

Windows

ISO8583

ACI Realtime and Office

Linux and Windows scripting

Understanding transaction data element (Xml)

Formulation of documentation

System analysis relating to bugs and enhancements.

Experience:

3-years related experience

Staff management on a team leader level

Postilion Office Administrator and/or Postilion Realtime

3 years SQL Database Administration in a highly pressurised environment (Database team

Work Hours:

9 to 5 or 8 to 6

Rotational roster standby (including Weekends) required.

Overtime required where applicable

Salary is R30,000 - R39,000 per month
