POSITION INFO:

- The Technical Sales Manager should have come from a Technical, Pre-Sales background preferably coming from a competitor or an environment that involves the sale of complex IT or Automation products
- Technically savvy and able to sell independent of the Sales team
- Work parallel to the Sales team
- Ability to grasp and sell complex Technical Solutions through product offering, software and services
- The position would play an important role as an interface between the Technical team and Sales team
- The Technical Sales Manager would have extensive experience in providing Technical Solutions (solutions related to Product, Software and Service)
- The position would work closely with the Value Added Services Solutions team
- Have access to the full array of Products, and the incumbent should be able to have a deep understanding of the Products to ensure appropriate tailoring of solutions to clients
- Have access to Technical team for support
- Engage with clients across Central Banks, Retail and Print works across regions
- Be extremely customer centric and have a background where customer centricity was at the forefront
- Keep pace with the Sales team
- Have a clear aptitude for further development (in future this position’s portfolio will grow and there will be a small team to manage), leadership qualities are important
- Bottom line is the incumbent should be a Salesman, with strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical requirements to relay these with business stakeholders
- It is important for the Technical Sales Manager to remain client/customer facing and focused, with that said, there would be extensive travel involved

Key Selection Criteria & Role Requirements – Product Support
- The Product Support role is highly technical and the preference is for an incumbent to have an Engineering Technical background, Electro Mechanical, Software and Automation background (coming from competitor or similar environment)
- The position is client facing and would involve stakeholder engagement across both internal (Sales team and Business) and external stakeholders (Central Banks)
- High speed environment, important for the incumbent to have a similar background
- Managing local and international client engagements, working across large Central Bank systems
- Understand the ins-and-outs of the Product Evolution
