POSITION INFO:
About the Role: On behalf of our client, a premier financial services brand in South Africa, we are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to manage, develop, and expand a specialized Investment Intermediary (IFA) portfolio . The successful candidate will be responsible for driving retail investment market share, introducing new intermediary partnerships, and facilitating digital and product enablement for investment advisory practices . Key Responsibilities: Portfolio & Target Achievement: Direct responsibility for hitting annual sales volumes and monthly net inflow targets across Local, International, Structured, and Guaranteed Investment Products . Intermediary Acquisition & Retention: Service existing supporting IFA networks while prospecting and introducing new intermediaries to the platform . Practice Support & Education: Deliver training, market insights, and product development support to advisors and their back-office teams . Digital Strategy: Facilitate the adoption of digital tools and platform tech solutions across intermediary practices . Governance & Compliance: Ensure full alignment with FAIS, FICA, and POPIA regulatory frameworks within the distribution network . Minimum Requirements: Education: Tertiary qualification in Finance, Investments, or related field (Honours degree recommended) . CFP® designation highly advantageous . Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of sales distribution experience within an Investment Management Company or Linked Investment Service Provider (LISP) . Track Record: Demonstrated background in supporting, developing, and growing IFA practices with a verifiable sales record . Skills: Strong lateral problem-solving, persuasive presentation skills, client-centric ethos, and high resilience . Licensing: Valid South African Driver''s License and personal vehicle .
