SUMMARY:

Our client, leading in the insurance industry is looking for a Accountant (CA) to join their team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IFRS17.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

Working closely with IFRS 17 specialist to ensure that IFRS 17 implementation project in terms of standard
Prepare SAM quarterly and annual returns
Prepare annual financial statements on an IFRS basis
Provide portfolio support and management
Internal and external stakeholders relationship management and development

Requirements:

BCom Accounting
CA(SA)
8 years plus experience in a financial institution
Solid understanding of IFRS 17
General understanding of industry, statutory guidelines, and insurance law
